Indian shooting sensation Manu Bhaker’s joy was shattered by a tragic turn of events as her maternal grandmother and uncle lost their lives in a road accident on Sunday. A collision between a scooter and a Brezza car on the Mahendragarh Bypass Road in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, resulted in this tragic incident.

According to police, Bhaker’s relatives were travelling on a two-wheeler when it was struck by a car. The car driver fled the scene, and their identity remains unknown. ASI Suresh Kumar confirmed, ‘We received information about the accident involving a car and a scooter. Both individuals on the scooter succumbed to their injuries. The car driver could not be found at the scene.
This tragic news comes just days after Bhaker, a double Olympic medalist, was honored with the prestigious Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award by President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
